Orange County Animal Services, in partnership with the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando, is proud to have an offsite spay/neuter clinic available to the pets of the public! This clinic will provide low-cost spays and neuters, as well as basic veterinary services like vaccinations, heartworm testing and prevention.
The clinic was implemented to address a problem plaguing Orange County for decades – pet overpopulation. Each year, Animal Services, the county’s only open admission shelter receives approximately 18,000 homeless pets. While the shelter makes every effort to secure a live release for these pets, due to the sheer volume that is not always possible. Accessibility of spay and neuter services will be key in helping to curb this problem and is a step forward for animal welfare in Orange County.
